Illustrations created for an editorial group project. Both my partner and I collaborated on the layout design while I did the illustrations. This was created for an ESPN magazine article about a man who lost his son to cancer. To cope, the man began a "running ritual" that involved going out to run every day and spelling out his son’s name using his Google Maps location data. By running his son’s name, he was able to cope with this loss and inspire other people who have lost someone.
